Build and improve the microservices and platform infrastructure powering Lyft’s ride experience, including architecture, testing, monitoring, and issue resolution. Responsibilities
- Design, build, and integrate the platform powering the ride experience.
- Help design roadmaps and architecture aligned with technology and business needs.
- Improve and implement microservices, including quality, performance, and monitoring for microservice APIs.
- Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
- Identify, triage, debug, and resolve issues and bugs across applications and platforms.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6 months of experience in the job offered, software development, or a related occupation.
- At least 6 months of experience with object-oriented programming, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
- At least 6 months of experience with web technologies, DynamoDB, and one or more of C, C++, Java, Go, or Python.
- Experience with frontend and backend languages, relational databases, and schema design.
- Experience with data structures or algorithms.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base pay range: $136,000–$162,000 per year in the San Francisco area.
