Responsibilities
- Establish Scribe’s Solutions Engineering function, including processes, scope, and scalable playbooks.
- Hire, mentor, and lead a founding team of Solutions Engineers; coach performance and support career growth.
- Support strategic new-business and expansion opportunities from discovery through close.
- Deliver proofs of concept that connect product capabilities to measurable customer outcomes.
- Partner with Go-to-Market, Sales, Customer Success, and Product leadership, bringing customer feedback into the roadmap.
- Build reusable demo assets, proof-of-concept frameworks, and technical narratives.
- Use team performance data to evolve the function as the product and customer base grow.
Requirements
- 3+ years of people-management experience leading Solutions Engineers, Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, or comparable technical customer-facing teams.
- Experience as a Solutions Engineer or in a comparable pre-sales or post-sales technical role at a high-growth SaaS company.
- Ability to explain large language models and AI product concepts to technical and executive audiences.
- Experience building a function, scalable programs, processes, and playbooks from scratch.
- Willingness to remain hands-on in strategic customer engagements.
- Ability to translate technical complexity into business value for executive buyers.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success.
Compensation and Benefits
- On-target earnings: $260,000–$300,000, varying by location.
