Applied AI Architect, Cyber

Provides cybersecurity domain expertise and customer-facing technical leadership to help large enterprises deploy Claude for application security, threat detection, vulnerability management, and related workloads. Responsibilities

  • Partner with account executives and account architects to understand customer security programs, identify Claude-powered security opportunities, and translate them into technical plans and business cases.
  • Advise enterprise customers throughout discovery, evaluation, deployment, and adoption, coordinating internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Help customers build sustained security workloads, including secure SDLC application security, automated penetration testing, alert triage and investigation, and vulnerability-impact threat intelligence.
  • Build reference implementations, harnesses, and evaluation approaches for Claude-powered security workflows.
  • Design and lead customer workshops and hands-on sessions using customer code and workflows.
  • Collaborate with security ISVs, systems integrators, and managed security providers on shared accounts.
  • Deliver technical content to security engineers, application-security teams, CISOs, and executives.
  • Define workload adoption metrics and collaborate with Product and Engineering on telemetry.
  • Create reusable playbooks and best practices, identify product gaps, and provide feedback to Product and Engineering.
  • Develop reference customers and occasionally travel to customer sites.
  • Maintain current knowledge of LLM capabilities, cybersecurity developments, vulnerabilities, and attacks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in security roles, with hands-on depth in at least two of application security and secure SDLC, offensive security and penetration testing, detection and response, or threat intelligence and vulnerability management.
  • Experience in a technical customer-facing role such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, security consultant, or Technical Account Manager, or experience securing leadership investment in security initiatives.
  • Experience with large enterprise customers, complex buying cycles, multiple stakeholders, and existing vendors or partners.
  • Ability to communicate security value and risk to CISOs and executives and translate between security, engineering, and business teams.
  • Comfort with Python, CI/CD, and cloud environments, including integrating tooling into engineering workflows.
  • Familiarity with LLM frameworks and tools and practical experience applying LLMs to security work.
  • Ability to collaborate across organizations, balance competing priorities, teach, and mentor.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience in a relevant field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building or operating security automation at scale, including scanning pipelines, triage systems, or detection engineering.
  • Experience serving regulated, strategic, digital-native, or public-sector organizations.
  • Experience with security ISVs, systems integrators, or managed security providers.
  • Open-source security tooling contributions, published research, or CVEs.

Compensation

  • Annual on-target earnings compensation: $240,000–$315,000 USD.
