Software Engineer - AIM Virtualization
Build AI-driven database virtualization systems that enable customers to migrate applications to Snowflake without changing SQL or APIs. The role focuses on database internals, platform development, and AI-based software synthesis.

Responsibilities
- Participate in AI-based development across the full platform, including syntactic and semantic analysis, wire protocols, and data ingest/egress.
- Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and field engineering to help customers transition their databases.
- Define and improve engineering processes for AI-based software synthesis workflows.
Requirements
- 2–7 years of experience in SQL and/or other functional programming languages.
- Curiosity and imagination for using AI in novel ways to create robust, scalable data platforms.
- Solid knowledge of database internals, including query parsing, optimization, and execution.
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, databases, high-performance computing, or a related field.
