Responsibilities

  • Listen and learn across the company to understand operations and make recommendations on amplification or addressing issues.
  • Run all-hands and executive content, including planning, execution, measurement, and evolution.
  • Handle internal storytelling by turning strategy, launches, and hard decisions into clear messages for every team.
  • Act as the signal in noise by cutting through Slack sprawl, establishing channels, cadences, and norms to keep the company informed efficiently.
  • Own change management by delivering hard and easy news with clarity and candor to earn trust.
  • Protect the culture through words that maintain the company's tone during growth.
  • Measure what matters in a high-velocity, high-humility organization.
  • Partner across the company, brief executives directly, and serve as a truth-teller.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in internal, executive, or corporate communications, ideally in a high-growth technology company.
  • A builder who has stood up a function from scratch.
  • World-class writing and editing skills, including ghostwriting for executives, drafting all-hands, and handling sensitive announcements.
  • Proven change-management instincts with experience delivering complex news company-wide while maintaining trust.
  • Sharp judgment under pressure, ability to decide fast, communicate kindly, and uphold quality.
  • Comfort advising, challenging, and recommending to senior leaders with strong visions.
  • Deep familiarity with corporate comms rules and a point of view on when to break them.
  • Comfort using AI tools in workflow, with clear articulation of their application.
  • Passion for the truth well-told.
