Responsibilities
- Provide first-class travel support via chat, phone, and email.
- Maintain current knowledge of providers, destinations, and systems.
- Quickly assess customer needs, urgency, and preferences.
- Handle hotel, flight, rental car, and rail bookings accurately.
- Advise customers on self-service options in the Navan platform and app.
- Respond quickly while meeting SLA requirements.
- Follow company and customer policies to ensure global compliance.
- Provide stakeholders with feedback on destination progress and key processes.
- Participate in team meetings covering products, suppliers, and industry developments.
- Stay informed about travel-industry best practices.
- Maintain attendance, complete assigned training, and meet performance metrics.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a travel consultant, including flight, rail, and hotel bookings.
- At least 3 years of experience with a GDS such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo.
- Fluent German and very good English.
- Experience in a contact center or customer-facing role.
- Confident use of Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce.
- Availability Monday through Friday; days off are Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays.
- Ability to multitask, resolve urgent matters quickly, and troubleshoot independently.
- Empathetic, professional, and highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
