Grants Program Analyst
Provides specialized NIH grants management support for competing applications, pending awards, funding actions, and portfolio analysis. The role requires a master’s degree, 12 years of NIH grants management experience, and hands-on proficiency with eRA IMPAC II.

Responsibilities
- Triage competing grant applications and prioritize work according to organizational needs and deadlines.
- Follow up on required documentation and upload materials to official grant folders.
- Review competing grant applications for bars to funding, foreign involvement, summary statement concerns, budget issues, human and animal subject codes, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Issue award notices and award packages within specified timeframes.
- Respond to grantee and Federal staff inquiries and provide guidance on administrative and procedural matters.
- Prepare clear, accurate correspondence regarding administrative issues and prior approvals.
- Collaborate with program and grantee staff to obtain information required before awards.
- Assist with OGM supplements, funding actions, and portfolio analysis of pending awards.
Requirements
- Master’s degree required.
- Minimum 12 years of specialized NIH grants management experience.
- Experience using eRA IMPAC II to process competing grant applications and issue award packages.
- Experience reviewing applications for budget, compliance, and award-readiness concerns.
Compensation and Benefits
- Anticipated base compensation: $115,000–$125,000 USD.
