Staff Global Supply Manager
Leads global sourcing strategy, supplier selection, negotiations, and performance management for precision mechanical components and tooling used in autonomous drones. Partners with engineering, finance, and procurement to support new product introduction, cost optimization, and supply continuity.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commodity sourcing strategies for drone components and tooling, particularly precision custom mechanical components and manufacturing processes.
- Create technology and commodity roadmaps for current and future programs.
- Partner with supply chain and engineering on supplier and component selection for new product introduction and sustaining projects.
- Identify and develop high-potential suppliers globally.
- Manage vendor selection, RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, commercial terms, sourcing reviews, and business award decisions.
- Lead price negotiations, spend analysis, supplier consolidation, sourcing alternatives, consumption forecasts, and execution plans.
- Monitor market conditions, technology roadmaps, and supply and demand risks.
- Partner with finance and accounting on component cost forecasts, monthly close, financial planning, and tooling investments.
- Establish and manage supplier performance metrics covering technology, quality, supply, and cost.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, and dispute resolution.
- Support and improve supply chain and sourcing processes and tools.
Requirements
- Experience with mechanical component surface treatments, including corrosion-resistant, decorative, and RF-performance coatings for plastics and metals.
- Experience with tooling capacity management, tooling unit-cost targets, and supplier capacity management.
- Expertise in complex negotiations, RFP/RFQ review, cost and price analysis, business awards, and purchasing procedures.
- Experience using cost models to establish should-cost targets and negotiate sourcing and cost-reduction opportunities.
- Experience negotiating and managing supplier contracts, terms and conditions, MSAs, SOWs, and NDAs.
- Experience facilitating early supplier involvement among suppliers, program design, sourcing, and procurement teams.
- Ability to present quantitative and qualitative comparative analyses of sourcing alternatives.
- Strong supplier relationship and performance management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to adapt and deliver results in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Interest in emerging technologies across consumer electronics, aerospace, robotics, and mechanical component manufacturing.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary: $161,000–$227,500.
