Mobile Maintenance Supervisor
Leads a maintenance crew responsible for the safety, troubleshooting, repair, and reliability of heavy mobile mining equipment. Requires at least five years of mining maintenance experience, supervisory or lead experience, and strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and develop maintenance technicians while maintaining a safety-first culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct safety meetings and workplace inspections, address hazards, and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Work hands-on to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy mobile mining equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Prioritize and coordinate daily maintenance based on safety, equipment criticality, production needs, labor, parts, and available resources.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and failure analysis using diagnostic tools, schematics, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
- Improve equipment reliability and availability through preventive maintenance, repair-quality reviews, equipment-status tracking, and recurring-failure analysis.
- Coordinate with planners, operations, and vendors on repairs, work orders, parts, repair requirements, and downtime.
- Train and mentor technicians, provide field technical leadership, and provide on-call support as needed.
Requirements
- Supervisory, lead technician, or crew-leadership experience, including coaching technicians and providing technical direction.
- At least 5 years of mining maintenance experience supporting heavy mobile mining equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and failure-analysis skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Experience with Caterpillar mobile mining equipment and electronic diagnostic tools.
- Experience using maintenance tracking systems and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license.
- Availability for a 7-days-on/7-days-off schedule with 12-hour shifts, rotating day and night shifts, and on-call coverage.
Nice-to-haves
- Welding experience.
- Familiarity with CAT ET and CAT SIS.
- Experience with CAT 777 haul trucks and/or CAT 992K wheel loaders.
- Experience with autonomous mining technology.
