Engineering Manager
Leads architecture and development of machine-learning and generative-AI systems for network analysis, including agentic workflows and conversational interfaces. Manages and mentors ML engineers while coordinating cross-functional delivery, production support, and roadmap execution.

Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, research, and development of machine learning systems powering AI features in the Forward platform.
- Oversee large language model systems for natural-language interaction with a network digital twin, including query generation, query summarization, and conversational AI.
- Lead development of agentic AI systems that automate complex network analysis workflows.
- Design components that interpret user intent, plan multi-step workflows, invoke platform APIs and query engines, and synthesize results from trusted network digital-twin data.
- Plan AI initiatives, including roadmap planning, effort estimation, prioritization, and progress tracking using tools such as JIRA.
- Coordinate machine learning, backend, and frontend engineering teams delivering AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with product management and user-experience teams on requirements, user feedback, and implementation.
- Manage and mentor machine learning engineers; conduct interviews, make hiring recommendations, perform reviews, onboard employees, and support technical development.
- Serve as the primary contact for production issues involving AI features.
- Monitor performance, triage incidents, coordinate debugging and resolution, and oversee continuous improvement of deployed AI systems.
Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 24 months of relevant experience.
