Engineering Manager/TLM, Platform
Leads and builds a platform team responsible for infrastructure, developer productivity, and SRE/production support. The role combines hands-on technical work with team building and requires cloud, infrastructure troubleshooting, large-scale operations, and SRE experience.

Responsibilities
- Own infrastructure, including cloud services, third-party vendors, and related systems.
- Build developer productivity tooling, AI tooling, and harnesses that enable engineering teams to work AI-first.
- Own SRE and production support, establishing strong production discipline for a high-growth, high-scale environment.
- Build the team from 2 people to 5–6 people over the next three months.
- Stay hands-on by working directly with engineers and contributing to the work.
- Grow infrastructure, developer productivity, and SRE/production support into larger teams over time.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of line-management experience directly managing teams of 6–10 people, or clear readiness to transition into management.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Google Cloud and strong database troubleshooting skills.
- Experience operating at scale, on the order of at least 1 million requests per minute.
- Ability to troubleshoot databases, networking, compute, Docker, Kubernetes, and other infrastructure components.
- Knowledge of on-call practices, SLAs, SLOs, and general SRE practices.
- Willingness to remain hands-on and grow into a broader management role.
Nice to Have

- Experience building a team from a very small base.
- Prior startup experience, especially in a hypergrowth company.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $225,000–$275,000 per year.
