AI Product Designer
Senior AI Product Designer who independently owns UX for a product area, conducts firsthand user research, and ships AI-enabled SaaS workflows. The role requires strong UX/UI craft, design-system judgment, and the ability to evaluate AI interaction patterns and communicate trade-offs.

Responsibilities
- Own UX definition for a product area, from user needs through interface decisions and shipped experiences.
- Partner with Product to translate user goals into interface elements and behavior.
- Make and clearly communicate quality-versus-speed and scope-versus-fidelity trade-offs.
- Build expertise in user workflows through direct user research, workflow mapping, and documentation.
- Own pattern decisions for a product area and contribute to the broader design language and design system.
- Evaluate emerging AI UX patterns and apply them appropriately.
- Combine traditional design foundations with AI-native workflows across varying levels of fidelity.
- Document design intent visually and in writing for human collaborators and agentic tools.
Requirements
- Demonstrated independent ownership of UX for a product area or workflow, end to end.
- Expert knowledge of foundational UX/UI concepts and practices.
- Experience conducting direct user research, mapping workflows, and documenting findings for others.
- Experience strategically and tactically implementing at least one major AI-based workflow in a SaaS application.
- Knowledge of emerging AI UX patterns and a process for evaluating their use.
- Advanced proficiency with AI design tools.
- Intermediate understanding of foundational models and their trade-offs.

- Experience contributing to or codifying design-system and pattern decisions across multiple product surfaces.
- Strong understanding of accessibility and interaction design fundamentals.
- Active participation in the design systems community.
- Experience improving team workflows and effectiveness through AI tools and practices.
