About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own design from research and prototyping through high-fidelity design, shipping, and iteration based on real usage.
  • Translate complex AI infrastructure workflows—including model deployment, inference monitoring, and agent orchestration—into clear, usable interfaces.
  • Build and evolve the design system, including its visual language and component library.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Product Management on product decisions.
  • Use AI-powered design tools to accelerate design workflows.
  • Simplify the developer experience across onboarding, production, and other platform touchpoints.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product design experience, ideally with developer tools, cloud platforms, infrastructure products, or complex B2B systems.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and the ability to solve complex UX problems.
  • Expert proficiency with Figma and fluency with supporting tools such as FigJam, Framer, or Principle.
  • Experience owning product areas end-to-end in a startup environment and working effectively with ambiguity.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and hands-on use of large language models.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain design rationale to engineers, product managers, and leadership.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience designing developer platforms, APIs, or cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or Vercel.
  • Familiarity with front-end development or design-to-code workflows.
  • Exposure to agent-driven UX patterns and human interaction with autonomous AI systems.
  • Ability to turn technical constraints into design opportunities.
