About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build new pipeline and drive revenue within assigned territory
  • Deeply understand customers' business challenges and position Hex as the solution
  • Partner with Sales Engineering to run discovery, demos, POCs, and technical reviews
  • Manage the sales-cycle including lead generation, qualification, and closing deals while meeting/exceeding sales goals
  • Provide input to engineering, product management, and marketing
  • Create and deliver accurate forecasts

Requirements

  • Proven track record selling technical software in data, DS/ML, or analytics space
  • Understand and teach complex technical concepts
  • Speak confidently about challenges data practitioners face
  • Passionate/curious about data & analytics space
  • Manage large, complex deal cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Willing to learn basic SQL
  • Enthusiasm for teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Love giving/receiving feedback
  • Located in SF, NYC, or Boston metro areas

Compensation

  • On-target-earnings (OTE): $320,000
