Build and scale consumer growth features across React/TypeScript interfaces, Rails services, APIs, and experimentation systems. The role requires 5+ years of production software experience, full-stack framework expertise, and ownership of performance, reliability, and conversion outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, refactor, and scale consumer product features end to end, from member-facing React/TypeScript interfaces through the services and APIs that power them.
- Build resilient APIs and partner with mobile engineers on contracts behind a React Native app.
- Prototype and launch A/B tests, then use results to determine what ships, iterates, or is discontinued.
- Own page performance, funnel conversion, accessibility, and instrumentation.
- Collaborate with product, design, data science, and marketing to understand member pain points and develop solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve system reliability and scalability.
- Improve and uphold high technical standards across the engineering team.
Requirements
- 5+ years developing software in a production environment at scale.
- Experience with a modern front-end framework such as React and a server-side framework such as Ruby on Rails.
- TypeScript and component-driven UI development experience.
- Experience with transactional databases, caching, client-side state, and performance.
- Experience running experiments, including A/B tests and feature flags.
- Exposure to architectural patterns for large-scale web applications.

Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $164,000–$227,000.
- Eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits.
