Machine Learning Engineering Manager
Lead and grow a team of Machine Learning Engineers focused on fraud detection and risk management at Stripe. Build strategic ML platforms, improve merchant user experience, and partner cross-functionally to make risk a product differentiator.

Responsibilities
- Support the team in delivering a high level of technical quality and impact via APIs, user-facing experiences, services, and systems
- Recruit, hire, scale, and develop an amazing team of engineers
- Execute cross-functionally with leadership, product teams, infra teams & risk strategists
- Be actively involved in strategic direction and platform decisions that impact all of Stripe and Stripe customers
Minimum Requirements
- At least 3 years of engineering management experience
- Prior experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Managed teams that collaborate with product teams, respond rapidly to customer needs, and build strategic foundational technology
- Enjoy designing, measuring & improving user experience
- Empathetic to customer needs but visionary enough to deliver beyond incremental improvements
- Comfortable planning in quarters and setting a vision for several years
- Comfortable working with geographically distributed teams and remote workers
