Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance, recommendations, and influence to go-to-market stakeholders on financial strategies, investments, and resource allocation decisions.
- Partner cross-functionally to drive analysis, build financial models, and recommend decisions across revenue goals, sales capacity planning, and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise financial reports, analyses, and forecasts highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with strategic finance, FP&A, and accounting counterparts to align go-to-market activities with broader financial strategies.
- Establish and implement reporting dashboards and scorecards to track operational and financial metrics.
Requirements
- Experience across strategic finance, go-to-market finance, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, consulting, or investment banking.
- Exceptional analytical skills, including synthesizing data into insights and developing and maintaining complex financial operating models.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, business judgment, process-management, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance audiences and work effectively cross-functionally.
- Ability to drive operational outcomes in a fast-paced, changing environment and under tight timelines.
- Passion for building safe, transformative AI systems.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Nice to have
- 10+ years of experience across strategic finance, go-to-market finance, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, consulting, or investment banking.
- Go-to-market finance business partnership experience.
- 10+ years in strategic finance combined with prior experience in private equity, growth equity, venture capital, consulting, or investment banking.
- Experience with consumption-based or complex business models.
- Knowledge of and interest in go-to-market strategies, including deal-desk management.
- Background in AI, machine learning, or related technologies.
