Impact (Responsibilities)
- Design and manage Money systems and services, commercializing Databricks products.
- Develop primitives for pricing strategies (Pay-As-You-Go, commissions, credits, trials, promotions).
- Enhance engineering efficiency, reliability, CI/CD, test frameworks, data quality, reconciliation, anomaly detection.
- Collaborate with commercialization experts on pricing strategies.
- Use AI and LLMs for cost insight, prediction, optimization across cloud providers.
- Become expert in Databricks Data + AI tools.
- Provide leadership in long-term vision and requirements for Databricks products.
- Represent Databricks at conferences and events.
What We Look For (Requirements)
- BS or higher in Computer Science or related field.
- Technical leadership in large projects with near real-time large data processing and distributed service infrastructure.
- Proven track record building, shipping, managing reliable distributed services and data pipelines at scale.
