Develops high-performance cybersecurity backend products in C++ and C# for Windows and Linux, processing files at binary and structural levels. The role also builds Python automation, contributes to scalable security engines, and may integrate AI/ML models.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test OPSWAT MetaDefender products built on C++ and C# (.NET Core) for Windows and Linux.
- Build and develop an automation test framework using Python to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Interact with files, documents, images, and other data at binary and structural levels.
- Enhance existing backend engines that process millions of files daily, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Leverage and fine-tune AI/ML models for integration into products when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms, operating systems, and computer systems.
- Object-oriented programming and object-oriented design expertise.
- Logical thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with or strong interest in AI developer tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code, and AI-assisted workflows such as agent skills and MCP.
- Proficiency in English, particularly reading and writing.
Nice to Have
- Programming experience with C++, C#, or Python.
- Basic knowledge of machine learning.
- Experience with or exposure to AI/ML technologies, including applying or fine-tuning models.
- Experience with REST APIs and web technologies.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, TeamCity, Jira, and Confluence.
