CTO Operations Lead

Leads operational cadence, executive preparation, follow-through, communications, and special projects for the CTO organization. The role requires technical program management or business operations experience, strong executive communication, operational data fluency, discretion, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate the CTO department’s operating rhythm and ensure compliance with training and regulatory obligations.
  • Research and synthesize context for the CTO before external engagements and key customer calls.
  • Prepare actionable insights, background data, and strategic talking points for high-impact interactions.
  • Attend high-priority internal and external calls, capture critical context, and manage action items through completion.
  • Drive accountability across teams so meeting decisions translate into tangible results.
  • Partner with the CTO to create presentations and written materials for internal all-hands, board meetings, and external keynotes.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, impactful narratives.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives within the Office of the CTO, defining scope, stakeholders, and success metrics in ambiguous environments.

Requirements and Desired Experience

  • Experience in technical program management, business operations, or a chief of staff-style role.
  • Ability to manage complex timelines and multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience creating executive briefings and high-quality presentation materials.
  • Experience managing operational data, including budgets, resource planning, or headcount allocation.
  • High integrity, discretion, and professional judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Adaptability, autonomy, and a solution-oriented mindset in fast-paced environments.
