Requires 7+ years of cross-functional program or strategy experience, strong executive communication, analytical skills, and comfort with ambiguity.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Build repeatable competitive-program infrastructure, including playbooks for deal escalation, commercial guidance, incentives, user-base analysis, regional teardowns, and cross-functional feedback loops.
  • Lead named P0 and P1 competitive programs end to end, defining charters, objectives, workplans, milestones, decision forums, and success measures.
  • Establish cross-functional operating cadences and deliver program workstreams such as product and regional teardowns, seller enablement, product-gap reviews, go-to-market plays, and executive engagement plans.
  • Coordinate competitive deal triage and swarm mechanisms for priority opportunities, ensuring clear ownership, response plans, and access to Product, Pricing, Legal, Risk, and executive support.
  • Translate competitor, customer, and deal signals into actions for Product, product marketing, Sales, and go-to-market leadership.
  • Create decision-oriented executive reporting on program health, competitive pipeline, risks, progress, and recommendations.
  • Operationalize company-wide competitive culture initiatives.
  • Build trusted cross-functional relationships while maintaining accountability boundaries between program coordination and functional ownership.
  • Apply program-design and execution skills to other strategic go-to-market priorities as the business evolves.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in program management, business operations, go-to-market strategy, management consulting, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Sales, Marketing, Product, go-to-market Operations, or another commercial organization.
  • Experience leading complex, ambiguous, cross-functional programs from problem definition through implementation, adoption, and operational handoff.
  • Experience managing global programs across regions, segments, and product lines.
  • Ability to navigate senior stakeholders with differing incentives, priorities, and decision rights.
  • Strong problem-structuring, analytical, recommendation, and decision-driving skills.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including written updates, senior working sessions, and direct communication of risks and trade-offs.
  • Ability to establish operating cadences and track milestones, dependencies, actions, and escalations across multiple teams.
  • Sound judgment, ownership, adaptability, and comfort in fast-paced environments.
  • Collaborative working style and strong relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading competitive programs, strategic account programs, product launches, commercial transformation, or other high-stakes go-to-market initiatives.
  • Experience at a B2B technology, enterprise software, fintech, payments, or platform company.
  • Familiarity with competitive intelligence, win/loss analysis, sales enablement, pricing, commercial strategy, or product-feedback mechanisms.
  • Experience building an operating model, program-management function, or repeatable playbook from the ground up.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Product Operations, product marketing, Sales, Pricing, Finance and Strategy, and go-to-market Systems teams.
  • Comfort with SQL, business intelligence tools, or other methods of analyzing pipeline, adoption, revenue, and operational data.
