Manager, Technical Program Management - Security
Leads and develops a team of Technical Program Managers responsible for security programs across Snowflake’s engineering organization. The role requires 6+ years of technical program management experience, people-management experience, security or compliance program expertise, and strong executive communication.

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Technical Program Managers embedded across Security Engineering, including Product Security, Database Security, and Threat Detection.
- Own the operating rhythm for security program delivery, including planning, execution, and risk visibility across concurrent initiatives.
- Partner with Security Engineering leadership, Legal, Compliance, and Product to align program priorities with the company’s security and compliance posture.
- Represent security program health and risk to senior leadership through clear, data-driven updates that translate technical complexity into business impact.
- Coach TPMs on structuring ambiguous security programs, driving cross-team alignment, and building stakeholder trust.
- Identify and resolve organizational friction affecting security program planning and delivery by building lightweight, scalable processes.
- Hold the team accountable for outcomes while fostering ownership, technical rigor, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 6+ years of technical program management experience, including 2+ years directly managing TPMs or a similar technical team.
- Experience running security, compliance, or trust and safety programs at a cloud software or infrastructure company.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with security engineers and architects on technically complex initiatives, such as threat modeling, compliance certifications, and vulnerability remediation.
- Track record of building and coaching high-performing TPM or program management teams.
- Excellent executive communication skills, including presenting program risk and status to senior security and engineering leadership.
- Experience operating in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments with shifting priorities driven by emerging threats or compliance deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
