Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for India, supporting new customer acquisition and long-term growth across enterprise accounts.
- Identify, qualify, and close strategic enterprise opportunities while building a sustainable regional pipeline.
- Engage customers and prospects through executive meetings, regional events, industry conferences, and on-site engagements.
- Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles involving technical and executive stakeholders.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales Development, Solutions Architecture, Developer Success, Customer Success, and Partnerships on coordinated go-to-market initiatives.
- Share market insights and customer feedback with Product and Go-to-Market teams.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives.
- Build knowledge of customer technical environments, business priorities, and market trends across India.
- Tailor Temporal's value proposition to technical and executive audiences addressing distributed systems challenges.
- Use CRM and sales tools to manage opportunities, forecasts, and sales execution.
- Build trusted relationships with enterprise customers, strategic partners, cloud providers, system integrators, and the developer community.
- Partner with APAC leadership on regional strategy, territory planning, forecasting, and growth initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of enterprise technology or developer tools sales experience, including leading enterprise sales teams within India.
- Experience developing and executing regional go-to-market strategies at a high-growth technology company.
- Experience building or expanding a regional business, developing customer relationships, supporting team growth, and identifying market opportunities.
- Demonstrated success growing enterprise business and closing complex six- and seven-figure opportunities.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software buying cycles, technical evaluation processes, and competitive landscapes.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing enterprise sales professionals.
- Experience working with cloud providers, system integrators, channel partners, or technology ecosystems.
- Ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders from developers and architects to executive leadership.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
- Ability to understand and communicate concepts related to distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and modern software development.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

- Experience selling developer-focused, cloud infrastructure, open-source, AI, or other highly technical products.
Compensation and Benefits
- Estimated OTE pay range: ₹8,000,000–₹11,000,000.
- OTE includes salary and commission compensation where applicable.
