Responsibilities
- Lead and develop senior engineers and technical leads across the GTM Store and ZoomInfo Data Platform.
- Set roadmaps balancing scalability, performance, data onboarding, compliance, security, and reliability.
- Manage senior technical individual contributors, provide technical guidance, and support career growth.
- Partner with executive, product, business, legal, compliance, and downstream engineering stakeholders.
- Own the architecture and roadmap for the GTM Store, including scaling, performance, availability, monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, incident response, schemas, APIs, and change data capture (CDC).
- Ensure CDC systems provide reliable propagation, consistency, ordering, and fault tolerance at high event volumes.
- Own the architecture and roadmap for BigQuery-based analytical data infrastructure and ingestion pipelines.
- Standardize data ingestion patterns and self-service tooling to accelerate onboarding of new data sources.
- Ensure ingestion systems are reliable, observable, and scalable.
- Oversee customer data deletion workflows and auditability for GDPR, CCPA, and related privacy requirements.
- Establish prioritization frameworks and represent the platforms in strategic technology planning.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in software, platform, or data engineering, including senior leadership experience.
- Direct management experience with staff engineers, tech leads, or senior individual contributors.
- Strong knowledge of large-scale operational and analytical data stores, distributed systems, and high-volume data infrastructure.
- Experience designing data ingestion pipelines and using change data capture technologies.
- Experience with data privacy and compliance practices, including right-to-be-forgotten requests under GDPR and CCPA.
- Ability to balance reliability and performance initiatives with product feature delivery and data onboarding.
- Proven cross-functional partnership and executive communication skills.

- Kafka, event streaming platforms, and Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools.

Compensation
- Annual salary: $191,730–$301,290
