Regional Manager, Project Controls

Responsibilities

• Provide area-level leadership across multiple concurrent construction projects, ensuring alignment with program goals, budgets, and schedules.
• Drive standardization, consistency, and best practices across cost management, scheduling, change management, risk management, and reporting.
• Lead and manage a team of cost managers responsible for:
  • Monthly cost reporting
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Change and risk management
  • Pay application review
  • Client billing submissions
• Assess overall cost and schedule health across an area or program, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities early.
• Develop and communicate clear, actionable financial and schedule insights to senior leadership and clients.
• Manage critical deliverables and performance of onsite vendors providing cost management and scheduling services.
• Support program-level governance by ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent reporting across all projects.
• Partner cross-functionally with construction, engineering, procurement, and leadership teams to support successful project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in project controls and construction cost management.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects with area- or program-level accountability.
• Proven leadership of program- or area-wide initiatives focused on standardization and continuous improvement.
• Advanced financial and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate cost and schedule performance holistically.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders and clients.
• Experience leading teams and managing external vendors delivering cost and scheduling services.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, large-scale construction environments.

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation range: $225,000–$250,000.
