Senior Strategic Deployment Manager
Leads customer deployments of voice AI agents from discovery through production, translating business needs into technical solutions and managing integrations, testing, and launch. Responsibilities
- Lead customer deployments from initial discovery through production launch.
- Understand customer workflows, pain points, and business goals.
- Translate requirements into practical AI workflows and implementation plans.
- Build and configure voice AI agents, conversation flows, and automation workflows.
- Integrate Retell with existing systems, APIs, and business processes.
- Troubleshoot integrations, APIs, webhooks, telephony, authentication, and production deployments.
- Run customer working sessions, demos, technical discussions, and implementation reviews.
- Partner with Sales during discovery, solution design, and evaluations.
- Work with Product and Engineering to resolve issues and communicate product gaps.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and drive deployments toward launch.
- Help customers test, iterate, and optimize agents before and after production.
- Identify expansion opportunities and create repeatable deployment playbooks and best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills.
- Strong customer-facing communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in consulting, solutions engineering, deployment, implementation, customer success engineering, product management, or another customer-facing technical role.
- Comfort working with APIs, technical integrations, and software systems.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple customer projects.
- Ownership, adaptability, and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Excitement about AI, LLMs, and voice technology.
- Willingness to travel for important customer launches and onsite engagements.
