Responsibilities
- Execute and optimize SEM campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Apple Search Ads.
- Launch, QA, and manage campaigns, ad groups, and keyword builds.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights for weekly optimization plans.
- Conduct keyword research, maintain keyword hygiene, and identify targeting and segmentation opportunities.
- Support SEM testing roadmaps, including ad copy, bidding strategy, and audience experiments.
- Identify issues involving campaign structure, budget pacing, tracking, and performance; propose solutions and escalate as appropriate.
- Present reports and insights to inform campaign optimization.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Analysts on measurement improvements and campaign initiatives.
- Document processes and improve workflows for team efficiency and scalability.
- Support SEM Specialist I team members by sharing learnings, reviewing work, and troubleshooting execution tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, paid search, and/or paid social media.
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising/Bing Ads, Apple Search Ads, or similar platforms.
- In-depth understanding of paid search campaign management and optimization.
- Strong analytical skills, including reporting, pivot tables, Excel formulas, and data manipulation.
- Experience in a data-driven marketing environment.
- Understanding of SEM best practices and growth tactics.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with CTV and/or mobile app marketing.
- Google Ads, Bing Ads/Microsoft Advertising, or Apple Search Ads certifications.
- Data or SQL skills.

- Base salary of $62,560–$78,200 in Illinois, plus a discretionary bonus and total rewards package.
