Senior Staff Product Manager, eCommerce

Responsibilities
- Own the e-commerce advertising product strategy, business case, quarterly goals, success metrics, and launch-readiness unit economics.
- Present milestones and progress to executive leadership and finance; make scaling, pivot, or stop decisions based on data.
- Prioritize the roadmap and enforce disciplined scope management in a zero-to-one environment.
- Partner with GTM, sales, and account teams to define ideal customer profiles, go-to-market strategy, customer onboarding, and roadmap decisions.
- Represent the company in customer conversations and strategic industry partnerships.
- Partner with engineering and ML teams on experimentation, interpret A/B results, and make go/no-go decisions.
- Diagnose full-funnel performance from ad impression through purchase and identify investigation opportunities.
- Establish traffic-quality, creative UX, suppression, and inventory-quality standards.
- Define product policies for consent handling, regional privacy, customer data protection, and compliance requirements.
- Develop measurement and attribution partnerships; defend attribution methodology and incrementality approaches with marketers and agencies.
- Lead e-commerce platform integrations, including pixels, server-side event delivery, order attribution, catalog ingestion, and merchant installation flows.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience, including meaningful experience in performance advertising products such as DSPs, retargeting platforms, measurement/MMP products, ad networks, or e-commerce advertising.
- Hands-on expertise in web and mobile identity and attribution, including probabilistic matching, IP and device signals, pixels, server-to-server postbacks, browser privacy changes, ITP, fingerprinting protection, and ATT.
- Experience taking a product from beta to general availability, including recommending a product shutdown or material pivot based on data.
- Experience operating in zero-to-one incubation environments with funded pilots, direct customer management, and explicit go/no-go criteria.
- Demonstrated ML experimentation experience, including interpreting confidence intervals, evaluating experiment design, and making decisions under uncertainty.
- Cross-functional leadership across engineering, ML, go-to-market, sales engineering, creative, and finance without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Shopify and e-commerce ecosystem, including app approval, Customer Privacy API, webhooks, catalog/product feeds, and merchant tooling.
- Familiarity with server-side integrations such as Meta CAPI and Google Enhanced Conversions.
- Familiarity with incrementality testing, multi-touch attribution, media mix modeling, and attribution methodologies.
- Executive-level financial fluency, including building and defending unit economics cases.
Compensation
- Base salary: $198,000–$240,000 for all other cities and towns in approved states.
- Base salary: $211,000–$257,000 for Olympia, Austin, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Boston.
- Base salary: $230,000–$280,000 for the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles/Orange County, Seattle, and New York City.
- Compensation also includes equity and benefits such as health, vision, and dental coverage.
