Staff Product Manager, AI Infrastructure
Own the product strategy and roadmap for Crusoe’s block, file, and object storage products, translating customer needs into scalable cloud infrastructure capabilities. Requires 5+ years of technical product management or product-minded engineering experience, storage expertise, and strong cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities
- Build customer relationships to understand storage needs, pain points, and growth plans, and represent customer needs internally.
- Own and prioritize the storage product roadmap across block, file, and object storage.
- Define customer-facing capabilities such as tiering, versioning, backup and restore, and lifecycle management.
- Partner with Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Software Engineering, and SRE on technical specifications, timelines, and economics.
- Communicate complex technical tradeoffs through decision documents and narratives for executives.
- Monitor cloud-storage industry trends and competitive offerings to identify opportunities.
- Support sales and marketing in positioning storage capabilities and driving new business.
- Create and maintain customer-facing product documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of technical product management or product-minded engineering experience, with ownership at Staff or Group Product Manager scope.
- Strong customer orientation and experience translating feedback into decisions that improve revenue and retention.
- In-depth understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and cloud platforms and services.
- Experience building and launching block-volume, file-system, or object-storage products.
- Ability to define and scope ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives with minimal guidance.
- Analytical decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder-influence skills across engineering, finance, and executive teams.
- Direct technical experience with storage hardware, protocols, or file systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with object-storage access patterns, public access, and multi-tenant permissions.
- Familiarity with backup, replication, and disaster-recovery product design.
- Familiarity with cloud-storage economics and hot, warm, and cold tiering strategies.
- Experience managing or mentoring product managers.

- Compensation range: $200,000–$240,000 plus bonus.
