Senior Director, IT

Leads Crusoe’s global IT organization across service desk, systems engineering, and enterprise technology. The role owns IT operations, enterprise systems, security-related access controls, technology strategy, budgets, vendors, and team scaling, requiring 10+ years of IT and enterprise systems experience.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Own global IT operations and service delivery, including SLAs, escalation models, and operational metrics.
  • Lead the Service Desk, Systems Engineering, and Enterprise Technology functions, including Director-level direct reports.
  • Manage the enterprise systems portfolio, including ERP, CRM, supply chain, and other business systems.
  • Define and own the multi-year enterprise technology roadmap, including architecture, build-versus-buy decisions, automation, and AI adoption.
  • Champion AI adoption across IT operations to automate workflows, increase team capacity, and reduce manual effort.
  • Oversee identity and access management, including directory services, SSO, MFA, role-based access controls, and IT asset management.
  • Develop and manage annual IT budgets and vendor performance.
  • Direct IT buildouts for new locations and manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Establish governance for change management, access controls, and system reliability.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience across IT operations and enterprise systems.
  • 5+ years leading multi-function IT or enterprise technology organizations.
  • Experience owning Service Desk, Systems Engineering, and Enterprise Technology functions.
  • Extensive experience implementing and managing ERP platforms and enterprise business systems at scale.
  • Expertise in identity and access management, device management, endpoint platforms, system integrations, and APIs.
  • Experience building and scaling teams, hiring leaders, and creating structure in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience in manufacturing, construction, or data center environments and in compliance-regulated environments such as SOX or SOC 2.
  • Experience managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, build-versus-buy decisions, and AI initiatives.
  • Executive presence and ability to communicate technology strategy, risk, and investment tradeoffs to C-suite leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

  • Experience at an infrastructure, cloud, or AI company that builds physical infrastructure at scale.
  • Experience leading technology modernization or transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure environments, including public and private cloud.
  • MBA or equivalent business strategy experience.

  • Compensation range of $200,000–$250,000 plus bonus.
