Leads the strategy, architecture, governance, and hands-on evolution of a global People Systems ecosystem centered on Workday. Requires 10+ years of HRIS or People Systems experience, deep Workday expertise, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and vendors.

Responsibilities
- Own the global People Systems strategy and roadmap, with Workday as the core HR platform.
- Design, configure, optimize, and evolve Workday across Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
- Establish systems architecture, governance, security, data integrity, and change-management standards across the People technology ecosystem.
- Partner with People, Finance, IT, Security, and business leaders to translate organizational needs into scalable technology solutions.
- Lead Workday releases, enhancements, integrations, testing, and adoption of new functionality.
- Own integration strategy and governance between Workday and internal and external systems.
- Advance People data, reporting, and analytics capabilities for workforce decision-making.
- Evaluate the People technology landscape and recommend investments, enhancements, and consolidation opportunities.
- Implement automation and AI opportunities to improve People processes, data quality, and employee experience.
- Manage external vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
- Establish scalable processes and documentation for a growing global organization.
- Serve as the senior escalation point and subject matter expert for complex People Systems issues.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in HRIS or People Systems, including significant Workday ownership in a complex or global organization.
- Deep Workday expertise and leadership experience in at least one full-cycle Workday implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Workday architecture, configuration, integrations, security, reporting, and data governance.
- Experience developing and executing a People Systems strategy and roadmap.
- Experience scaling People technology in a high-growth, global organization.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and the connections among People, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and IT systems.
- Ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong vendor and implementation-partner management experience.
- Ability to operate strategically and hands-on while building a People Systems function.

- Workday certifications.
- Experience across multiple Workday modules.
- Experience with Ashby, Culture Amp, Enboarder, or similar People systems.
- Experience building reporting and People analytics capabilities.
- Experience applying AI and automation to People systems and operational workflows.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $195,000–$248,000.
