Responsibilities
- Administer Discord’s global equity plans, including participant eligibility and enrollment, award processing, option exercises, RSU releases, settlements, tax withholding, mobility reporting, expirations, cancellations, repurchases, and terminations.
- Process, validate, and reconcile equity transactions across equity administration platforms, payroll, and the general ledger.
- Resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate, timely equity records.
- Partner with Legal, HR, Payroll, Tax, and Finance on global equity administration, withholding, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Track employee work locations and mobility history and reconcile mobility data across payroll and HRIS systems.
- Respond to employee, management, and stakeholder questions about equity plans.
- Design and deliver educational sessions and communications about Discord’s equity programs.
- Manage the quarterly stock administration calendar and prepare year-end tax information for IRC 6039 reporting.
- Maintain SOX compliance through documentation, testing, and audit support.
- Work with external auditors and third-party vendors.
Requirements
- 5+ years of stock plan administration experience.
- Experience at both a private and public company.
- Experience administering global equity plans.
- Experience managing an equity administration system.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Nice-to-haves
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation.
- Experience with Carta.
Compensation
- US base salary: $132,000–$148,500 annually.
