Senior Accountant, General Ledger
The Senior Accountant will own general ledger close activities, equity and stock-based compensation accounting, audit support, and process automation. The role requires a bachelor's degree, 4–7 years of accounting experience, and strong U.S. GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses for assigned general ledger areas, including fixed assets, prepaids, leases, accruals, and intercompany accounts.
- Own the equity roll-forward and stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718, partnering with Legal, HR, and Carta.
- Prepare supporting schedules and footnotes for audited financial statements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors for assigned areas.
- Identify and drive process automation and monthly close efficiency improvements.
- Partner with Revenue, Payroll, AP/AR, FP&A, and IT.
- Mentor staff accountants as the team grows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA preferred or in progress.
- 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth SaaS company.
- 2–4 years of Big Four experience strongly preferred.
- Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, including equity accounting, ASC 350-40, and ASC 842.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Carta, and FloQast or BlackLine.
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort using AI or automation tools to improve accounting workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NetSuite ERP.
- Experience participating in a NetSuite implementation, ERP conversion, or financial systems transformation.
- Exposure to ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- IPO readiness or SOX experience.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base pay range: $131,000–$156,000 annually in San Francisco, CA.
- Equity, 401(k), health benefits, wellness benefits, flexible time off, federal holidays, and parental leave with 100% pay for 12 weeks.
