About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect observability solutions leveraging OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Translate complex enterprise customer requirements into scalable, performant, and maintainable implementations.
  • Develop and execute Proofs of Concept (POCs) that demonstrate technical capabilities.
  • Deliver technical demos and presentations for engineering and executive audiences.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives throughout the sales cycle.
  • Provide architecture guidance and best practices for observability setup, telemetry data modeling, and OpenTelemetry Collector design.
  • Create and maintain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and POC templates.
  • Partner with Product Management to provide technical insights that influence roadmap and feature priorities.

Requirements

  • Deep technical knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing.
  • Hands-on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization.
  • Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex observability concepts to engineers and executives.
  • Ability to create and execute technical demos, architectures, and POCs that prove business value.
  • Collaborative approach across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with HubSpot or other CRM tools.
  • Contributions to technical content, including blog posts, conference talks, or open-source documentation.
  • Familiarity with the CNCF ecosystem and community.
