Solutions Architect
This Solutions Architect partners with customers and sales teams to design and deliver integration solutions, while contributing production code, SDKs, and product extensions. The role requires a computer science degree, 3+ years of software engineering experience, Golang, REST and WebSocket APIs, and blockchain, crypto, or trading experience.

Responsibilities
- Partner with customers as a trusted technical advisor, guiding them in building on Coinbase services and APIs and deepening relationships as they scale.
- Collaborate with sales teams to address prospect technical requirements and support deal closure.
- Architect distributed systems solutions for complex customer needs and build open-source SDKs and reference implementations.
- Lead customer implementations end-to-end, delivering technical presentations, resolving roadblocks, and partnering with support teams to ensure success.
- Drive collaboration with product and engineering teams to extend core capabilities for strategic client opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science.
- 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- Expert-level proficiency with REST and WebSocket APIs.
- Production experience with Golang.
- Proven track record designing and building integration solutions across modern and legacy systems for complex, ambiguous customer problems.
- Ability to translate complex technical needs into actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders, including sales, product, and engineering teams.
- Experience with blockchain, crypto, or trading systems.
- Ability to independently scope customer requirements and deliver working solutions under tight timelines.
- Responsible use of generative AI, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary: $170,000–$170,000 USD, excluding equity and bonus.
