Responsibilities
Client Engagement
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to strategic clients, from early-stage fintechs to enterprise partners.
- Lead discovery conversations to understand client goals, technical environments, and program requirements.
- Translate client needs into integration designs and implementation plans.
- Own client relationships through scoping, build, launch, and ongoing optimization.
Technical Solutions
- Develop expertise in APIs, card-issuing workflows, and platform capabilities.
- Guide clients through authorization flows, transaction processing, tokenization, and card-program configuration.
- Review client implementations and identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities.
- Provide technical leadership during escalations and complex problem-solving scenarios.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Account Executives on pre-sales activities and solution proposals.
- Work with Product and Engineering to surface client feedback and inform the roadmap.
- Collaborate with bank partners and compliance teams on regulatory and network requirements.
- Document solutions, build reusable frameworks, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or a similar customer-facing role implementing SaaS or technology solutions.
- 3–5 years of experience in fintech, especially payments, card issuance, or financial-services technology.
- Strong understanding of APIs and complex technical concepts, with the ability to explain them clearly to customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong product sense, concept explanation, storytelling, and technical acumen.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across functions and with external stakeholders.
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced, high-growth environment and comfort navigating ambiguity.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual US on-target earnings range: $170,000–$225,000, including variable target compensation and annual base salary.
