What You’ll Be Working On
- Operational Monitoring: Continuously monitor Data Center operations and HVAC performance to ensure optimal thermal environments for hardware.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems; schedule and oversee contractors for monthly and annual deep-service requirements.
- Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair fiber network infrastructure and server-level hardware issues as they arise.
- Critical System Repairs: Identify and repair data center problems quickly to minimize downtime, utilizing logic to solve complex technical failures.
- Technical Documentation: Assist in technical writing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Method of Procedure (MOP) documents for maintenance activities.
- Contractor & Vendor Management: Manage contractor services to ensure quality work product and maintain strong relationships with critical infrastructure vendors.
- Response: Participate in an on-call rotation to address emergency issues and provide notification of maintenance activities to appropriate departments.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient knowledge of IT systems, network infrastructure, and the electrical/mechanical systems used in a data center environment.
- Infrastructure Expertise: Understanding of Transformers, PLCs, Generators, Switchgear, UPS systems, STS, ATS, PDUs, Chilled Water Systems, and Fire Suppression systems.
- Data Analysis: Experience with data trending and analysis, including the ability to rapidly learn and use PC-based integrated critical monitoring systems (EPMS/BMS).
- Safety Mastery: Expert knowledge in industrial safety best practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash protection (NFPA 70E), and OSHA regulations.
- Hands-on Background: Strong technical background with experience on computer/network gear as well as support infrastructure (HVAC and electrical).
Bonus Points:
- Prior experience in a "Mission Critical" environment (e.g., data centers, hospitals, or power plants).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, BICSI, or specialized electrical/HVAC licenses.
- Experience with industrial control systems and PLC programming.

Compensation Range: Up to $90,000 - $100,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers.
