Responsibilities
- Schedule, coordinate, and optimize fleet operations across multiple geographies and operational missions.
- Translate weekly plans into daily schedules and operator assignments; track plan versus actual performance and provide deviation insights.
- Coordinate full shifts involving testing, manual data collection, activity documentation, and on-road operations.
- Support drivers and operators in meeting team and program goals.
- Ensure procedures and checklists are followed, using appropriate escalation processes.
- Publish daily shift reports and handoff notes.
- Provide customer support for commercial deliveries by interacting with merchants and customers, supporting on-road operations, and escalating issues.
- Serve as the initial escalation point for technical, software, and emergency situations.
- Communicate with field operators and respond to operational issues as needed.
- Lead workflow optimization, automation, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Synthesize operational data to support planning and plan-versus-actual analysis.
- Lead team initiatives that improve communication and alignment with processes and policies.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in resource planning, allocation, optimization, reporting, or a related area; fleet management, autonomous driving, and robotics operations experience is preferred.
- Ability to schedule operating times for assigned shifts, including shift rotations and overnight work.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize operational data into actionable insights.
- Comfortable working with Google Sheets, Data Studio, and Looker.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and resolve issues in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to accommodate changing business needs and schedule changes.
Nice-to-haves
- 2+ years of experience in resource planning, allocation, and optimization.
- 2+ years of experience in the autonomous vehicle or delivery industry.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Compensation
- Base salary: $65,640–$88,690 annually.
- Eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity, and competitive benefits.
