Responsibilities
- Schedule, coordinate, and optimize fleet operations across multiple geographies and operational missions.
- Translate weekly plans into daily operator assignments and ensure execution against plan.
- Coordinate full shifts involving testing, manual data collection, activity documentation, and on-road operations.
- Re-optimize schedules and allocations as conditions change, capturing plan-versus-actual results and insights.
- Support drivers and operators in meeting team and program goals.
- Ensure procedures, checklists, and escalation processes are followed consistently.
- Publish daily shift reports and handoff notes.
- Support commercial deliveries by interacting with merchants and customers, assisting on-road operations, and escalating issues.
- Serve as the initial escalation point for technical, software, and emergency situations.
- Communicate effectively with field operators and respond to operational issues with composure.
- Lead workflow optimization and automation initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Synthesize operational data to improve planning workflows and drive plan-versus-actual insights.
- Lead team initiatives that improve communication and alignment with processes and policies.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in resource planning, allocation, optimization, reporting, or a related area; fleet management, autonomous driving, or robotics/logistics experience is preferred.
- Ability to implement shift operating schedules, including rotating shifts.
- Ability to synthesize operational data and generate actionable insights.
- Comfort working with Google Sheets, Google Data Studio, and Looker.
- Independent problem-solving and issue-resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business and schedule needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- 2+ years of experience in resource planning, allocation, and optimization.
- 2+ years of experience in the autonomous-vehicle or delivery industry.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Compensation
- Base salary range: $65,640–$88,690 annually.
- Eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
