Responsibilities
- Lead the backend strategy for evolving the Run Management engine to handle massive data throughput and complex orchestration logic.
- Manage the flow of raw HR inputs into the calculation engine, ensuring accurate and reliable outputs for high-stakes financial processes.
- Lead platform systems design, infrastructure reliability, and backend efficiency.
- Collaborate across Onboarding and Payroll Processing teams to ensure the Run Management layer provides a seamless interface.
- Build scalable products, develop high-performing teams, and attract and retain top talent.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Experience with high-concurrency systems and distributed platform architecture.
- Background building robust systems on cloud infrastructure.
- Experience managing data platform or infrastructure-heavy teams.
- Significant experience coaching and developing Engineering Managers.
- Deep technical expertise in backend systems and orchestration patterns.
- Strong communication skills for managing multiple charters and stakeholders.
