Senior Data Scientist - AI Tooling

Build and deploy AI-powered internal tools and data products for go-to-market teams, from rapid prototyping through production. The role requires applied data science experience, strong SQL and Python or R skills, LLM application expertise, and the ability to measure business impact.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Design, evaluate, and ship AI-powered internal tools for go-to-market use cases, including account research and summaries, next-best-action recommendations, renewal propensity, pipeline risk detection, QBR/autobrief generation, and post-call summarization and follow-ups.
  • Own the full lifecycle from problem definition and data modeling through production-ready tools, including Python backends and React frontends.
  • Rapidly prototype with users, then productionize quickly to iterate and deliver impact.
  • Define success through real usage and measurable business impact, such as improved win rate, conversion, or expansion.
  • Document playbooks, run enablement sessions, and help leaders operationalize new tooling across teams.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of applied data science with measurable go-to-market impact, including shipped models or tools that improved conversion, cycle time, or retention.
  • Experience applying LLMs and machine learning, including RAG, prompt and tool design, vector search, and evaluations.
  • Experience leveraging AI for software development.
  • Excellent SQL skills and fluency in Python or R.
  • Experience applying analytical and statistical methods to business problems.
  • Experience with orchestration tools such as dbt and Airflow for reliable data workflows.
  • Strong communication and empathy, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative product mindset and comfort working with Sales and Success teams to turn ambiguity into clear deliverables.
