Responsibilities
- Formulate hypotheses about how Spotify plans and delivers, and communicate insights to diverse audiences.
- Apply statistical modeling and machine learning to identify trends and improve organizational processes.
- Build and maintain data models, pipelines, and dashboards that provide visibility into planning and execution.
- Develop structured narratives, recommendations, insight reports, and recurring briefings that explain the "why" and "so what."
- Explore AI and automation to make insights faster to produce and easier to access.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a quantitative field.
- Background in science, economics, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to turn complex, messy datasets into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience with BigQuery.
- Experience with dbt, Tableau, or Looker.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with operational or work-management data.
