Owns Twilio’s Japan field marketing strategy across brand building, demand generation, account-based marketing, partner programs, and pipeline acceleration. Responsibilities
- Own and execute the Japan field marketing plan across the full go-to-market funnel, from PR and brand building through pipeline creation, acceleration, and late-stage deal support.
- Design and deliver integrated campaigns across email, social, paid media, content syndication, digital advertising, and paid advertorial channels.
- Lead executive engagement programs, including executive roundtables, CxO-level events, and account-based relationship marketing initiatives.
- Develop and execute partner marketing programs with Japan channel and alliance partners to drive joint pipeline and co-selling opportunities.
- Oversee Japan PR and communications activities to build brand credibility and thought leadership.
- Plan and deliver demand generation programs, including physical and digital events, webinars, outbound prospecting, ABM, and content-led nurture programs.
- Use intent data and signal-based marketing tools to prioritize target accounts and focus investment on in-market buyers.
- Partner with the Japan SDR team on lead handoff, campaign follow-up, and lead-quality improvement.
- Support Account Executives with targeted account programs, bespoke content, and customer references to accelerate opportunities through close.
- Localize global and regional campaign assets, messaging, and content for the Japanese market.
- Use AI-powered marketing tools for content creation, performance analysis, audience segmentation, and personalization.
- Analyze campaign and program performance using CRM and BI tools; report results, learnings, and optimization actions.
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations to optimize automation workflows, data capture, and lead routing in Marketo and Salesforce.
- Serve as the primary marketing business partner to the Japan sales organization and communicate market intelligence to regional and corporate marketing.
- Work cross-functionally with APJ Demand Creation, product marketing, and PR teams.
- Manage vendors, creative agencies, event production partners, and media partners on time, on budget, and on brand.
- Contribute to web localization and technical marketing system input for Japan customer and developer needs.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in B2B field marketing, demand generation, or integrated marketing communications, including programs in the Japanese market.
- Demonstrated success with brand-to-revenue go-to-market programs spanning PR, brand, demand generation, ABM, pipeline acceleration, and partner marketing.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
- Experience working closely with sales teams.
