Senior Manager, Materials Planning & Logistics – Development Programs
Leads materials planning, inventory, production control, and logistics readiness for autonomous aircraft development programs and a greenfield manufacturing facility. Requires substantial supply chain leadership experience, hardware development exposure, ERP/MRP expertise, and the ability to support NPI and production ramp.

Responsibilities
- Lead materials planning, production control, inventory, warehousing, and logistics strategy for aircraft development programs and a new manufacturing facility.
- Develop and maintain build plans aligned with program milestones in partnership with Engineering, Program Management, and Procurement.
- Define and monitor KPIs covering schedule attainment, material availability, shortages, inventory health, work-order execution, and planning accuracy.
- Identify long-lead material risks and implement mitigation and material recovery plans.
- Drive engineering change management and ECO implementation.
- Develop planning models for rapid prototyping, design iteration, NPI, and low-rate initial production.
- Communicate material status, risks, business impacts, and decisions to executive stakeholders.
- Lead planning and logistics readiness for a greenfield manufacturing facility.
- Design warehouse, stockroom, material-flow, inventory-control, storage, and transaction processes.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Facilities to improve material movement and operational efficiency.
- Build standard work and training programs while leading cross-functional collaboration and team accountability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
- Experience supporting complex hardware development programs in aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, or advanced manufacturing.
- Experience implementing or scaling material planning and inventory management processes.
- Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and supply chain planning methodologies.
- Experience managing material readiness for NPI and engineering development programs.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Nice-to-haves
- Greenfield manufacturing facility launches or major facility expansions.
- Aerospace, defense, unmanned systems, or advanced technology manufacturing experience.
- Oracle, SAP, Costpoint, or similar ERP platforms.
- APICS/ASCM certifications, including CPIM or CSCP.
- Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, DFARS, and government contracting requirements.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or operational excellence experience.
- Production ramp and transition from development to rate manufacturing.
