Responsibilities
- Drive long-range strategy for upper-funnel channels, including Linear TV, OTT/CTV, Audio, Podcast, OOH, and Programmatic, to acquire new customers and improve measured consideration.
- Set upper-funnel goals and OKRs and influence annual planning through media expertise and awareness of industry shifts.
- Integrate upper-funnel strategy with Brand direction and establish performance-data feedback loops.
- Lead media buying, negotiations, inventory quality, and placement strategy across upper-funnel channels.
- Manage and coach complex external agency relationships, holding agencies accountable to performance benchmarks and results.
- Steward large-scale program budgets with accuracy.
- Partner with Marketing Data Science on metrics and measurement frameworks.
- Interpret and apply Media Mix Modeling (MMM) results and propose Geo-Uplift tests to measure incrementality.
- Solve complex measurement challenges, including CTV signal loss and privacy-first multi-channel attribution.
- Automate marketing workflows and operationalize AI tools across the department.
- Architect AI-tool use cases to solve complex business problems and improve team efficiency.
- Communicate complex media and AI concepts to executives and share findings across the organization.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of relevant experience in high-scale media strategy for a consumer brand; two-sided marketplace experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise using upper-funnel channels to drive new customers and measuring their impact.
- Experience improving workflow automation with scripts, Python, SaaS tools, and AI.
- Experience building or implementing AI-driven systems that improve marketing delivery capacity is a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience implementing Geo-Uplift tests and applying MMM results tactically.
- Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree in a quantitative or business field is a plus.
- Experience managing agencies, holding them accountable for results, and managing an RFP process.
- Ability to collaborate with Brand and Marketing Data Science teams.
- Strong communication, curiosity, and independent problem-solving skills.
- Must reside in an approved state: Florida, Georgia, Idaho, North Carolina, Texas, Washington, or Michigan.

- Experience managing campaigns in the United Kingdom and European Union.
- Pet-related brand experience.
Compensation and Benefits
- Greater Seattle area first-year salary range: $153,430–$190,766.
- Washington State outside the Seattle area first-year salary range: $139,482–$182,724.
