Responsibilities
- Monitor FX risks, execute trades, reconcile positions, and attribute costs.
- Build automated risk monitors, alerting tools, and analytical models using SQL and quantitative coding to improve observability and reduce operational toil.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering on the design and scaling of core FX infrastructure, trade execution flows, and liquidity-provider integrations.
- Develop risk-based FX pricing methodologies across products and currency pairs, accounting for volatility, transaction costs, netting efficiency, and embedded optionality such as rate guarantees.
- Design hedging strategies to mitigate FX risks on financial statements while maintaining robust policies, controls, and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in FX, market risk, trading, quantitative research, or treasury operations.
- Working knowledge of FX market structure and instruments.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for building analytics and tools.
- Strong foundation in statistics, time series, and risk measurement.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to turn complex, imperfect datasets into clear insights.
- Practical experience using AI tools for analysis and automation, with a critical approach to model validation and verification.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, including concise escalation under time pressure.
- Bachelor's degree.
