Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software systems for the XBat Platform.
- Build robust ground control stations, mission planning tools, and communication interfaces.
- Provide user-facing applications to operate XBat.
- Collaborate with Aircraft Software, Hivemind, and Flight Test teams.
Required Qualifications
Senior Level:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or related field with 5+ years professional software development experience.
- Or Master’s with 4+ years, or PhD with 2+ years.
Staff Level:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or related field with 7+ years professional software development experience.

Or Master’s with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.

Strong proficiency in C++, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

Experience building distributed systems or networked applications.

Experience designing and developing ground control station (GCS) software for critical mission applications.

Experience developing user interfaces (e.g., Qt, React, or similar frameworks).

Strong debugging and system integration skills.

Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional engineering environment.

Ability to obtain security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with UAS platforms.
- Experience with AI/ML systems.
- Exposure to cybersecurity best practices for embedded or distributed systems.
