Responsibilities
- Own the company-wide commercial and partnership agenda across payments, decentralized finance, ecosystem, chain, and institutional relationships.
- Manage the partner stack for ether.fi Cash, including card networks and memberships, payment providers, and fiat and stablecoin ramp providers.
- Negotiate commercial agreements end to end, including pricing, minimums, exclusivity, terms, and revenue-sharing structures.
- Evaluate build-versus-partner tradeoffs and develop business cases.
- Manage trading, lending, and treasury counterparties.
- Source capital and distribution opportunities across the product suite.
- Negotiate incentive deals and revenue-share agreements.
- Drive native deployments of ether.fi assets on new chains and structure launch partnerships for new products.
- Identify and negotiate partners for new markets and payment corridors, including local ramps, regional payment networks, and licensing partners, in collaboration with compliance and legal teams.
- Build and manage a partner pipeline, terms, and forecasts; inherit and lead in-flight negotiations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or commercial roles spanning fintech/payments and cryptocurrency.
- Track record closing complex, multi-party commercial agreements involving pricing schedules, volume minimums, exclusivity, and revenue shares.
- Strong DeFi fluency, including liquid staking tokens, vaults, lending markets, and incentive design.
- Ability to structure and model deal economics and defend commercial recommendations.
- Independent ownership of pipeline, terms, and forecasts.
Nice to Have
- Experience with card network membership processes or issuer programs.
- Latin American or emerging-market payments experience, including local ramps and Pix or similar networks.
- Existing relationships with Layer 2 foundations, exchanges, and vault curators.
Success Measures
- Commercial agreements signed and renewed on favorable terms.
- Healthy, redundant, and cost-effective payments and card partner stack.
- Chain and ecosystem deals signed and value delivered through incentives, revenue share, and distribution.
