Responsibilities
- Architect and build systems from scratch, making appropriate tradeoffs for risk and long-term maintainability.
- Lead, build, test, and release products with stringent correctness and scalability requirements, including personal finance scenario builders and tax calculators.
- Tackle complex integrations in the personal finance space to enable smooth customer experiences and accurate financial reporting.
- Help shape product strategy and the technology organization by scoping what to build and how to build it for speed and an elegant user experience.
- Build, deploy, monitor, and scale modern serverless or container-based systems.
- Demonstrate systems design, project management, and mentorship skills.
Requirements
- Deep experience building, deploying, monitoring, and scaling modern serverless or container-based systems.
- Strong technical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong product sense and the ability to weigh tradeoffs under resource and time constraints.
- Ability to work autonomously and maximize impact.
- Experience with similar technology stacks is valuable.
Nice to Have
- TypeScript, NestJS, NextJS, NodeJS, AWS, Postgres, Redshift, Terraform, and CloudFormation experience.
