Leads a team responsible for identity and access architecture, federation, provisioning, authorization, and tenant isolation across multi-cloud infrastructure. Requires 7+ years of software engineering experience, 3+ years of people management, deep enterprise IAM expertise, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and roadmap for identity and access, including SSO/SAML/OIDC federation, SCIM provisioning, multi-tenant account structures, and authorization across multi-cloud infrastructure.
- Represent Identity & Access in cross-functional architecture reviews and roadmap decisions.
- Lead and grow a small engineering team through hiring, regular 1:1s, constructive feedback, quality standards, and career development.
- Protect operations where failures can affect production lines, materials, and compliance.
- Drive adoption of AI tooling for code review, test generation, specification drafting, and agent loops; share effective practices across engineering.
- Make IAM and access-policy tradeoffs where tenant isolation and enterprise compliance are non-negotiable.
- Ship customer-facing work quickly and reliably with operational excellence.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including production systems involving security-critical or identity/access functionality.
- 3+ years of people-management experience leading a software team.
- Deep hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, OIDC, and SCIM in enterprise environments.
- Experience building multi-tenant systems where tenant isolation is a hard requirement.
- Working knowledge of IAM, secrets management, and access policies across AWS and Azure.
- Track record of shipping clean, tested code and maintaining high engineering standards.
- Active use of AI tooling and a perspective on how it changes software development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
